Art Through the Ages Day 3

Art Through the Ages: Renaissance

We studied the Renaissance today. We learned how to weave, because this is how they made cloth for their fancy clothing. We also leaned about Leonardo da Vinci and we created inventions like he did. Some of the kids came up with some pretty great inventions!

The kids really enjoyed the weaving!

We had some good helpers today, too.

In the afternoon we created some really neat inventions.

He started this tower smaller and it grew...
And grew...
 And grew...
 and grew....
I hope it made it home in one piece!

 This catapult actually worked!

This catapult that the girls made worked too!

A bow and arrow that almost worked...

This is a dinosaur egg incubator....

Another great day in Art Through the Ages! Tomorrow is Impressionism....
