Everyone can view my "Spiral of Life Installation in the Cox Fine Arts Building at the Ohio State Fair now through Aug. 9 It is close the the 11th Street Entrance to the Fair (where the large OHIO entrance is).

Ohio State Fair Opening

The opening for the Fine Arts Exhibition at the Ohio State Fair was last night. I was very disappointed to discover that I didn't receive any awards for my installation. However I soon realized that the prime spot for my installation in the Exhibition was award enough! I really enjoyed standing by and watching people react to my artwork!

I was drawing in the afternoon today in a beautiful garden in Westerville for their Westerflora Garden tour. Nice afternoon until it started raining! At least I did get my drawing done!

I taught 3 classes at the Westerville Community Center from Tuesday July 14-Friday July 17. 

Fun with Painting in the morning:

 We did pastels on the first day.

 Everyone worked hard on their large animal pictures on the second day....

 

Some got creative with their methods!

 

 

Everyone made great large animal paintings!

 

We did marble paintings on the last day.

 

 

 Fun With Drawing in the Afternoon

 And Graphic Novel Design in the afternoon too.

 Lots of creative kids in my classes this week!

Westerville Music and Arts Festival

July 11-12

Had a great weekend at the Music and Arts Festival this past weekend. Thought Sunday was going to be a washout, but it brightened up after all.

 My display on Saturday.

 

My display on Sunday was a little more modest, because it was pouring down rain when I got there. It did brighten up and ended up being quite nice, although very hot!
